WRITING APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES

Please Read Before Booking

In order to meet with one of our tutors or professional staff, you will need to use Zoom.  Instructions for downloading and installing the software is located at https://elearning.uni.edu/zoom .

Please submit drafts longer than 5 pages at least 24 hours ahead by dragging and attaching your file to the appointment scheduler.

If you have written assignment guidelines, be sure to have them ready to share.

Please be prepared for your appointment.  Have your document open and be prepared to discuss what you need help with.

If you wish to cancel your appointment, please call 273-6023 or email thelearningcenter@uni.edu as soon as possible.

All appointments will take place in Central Standard Time (CST).

Make sure you have your email open at the time of your appointment as this is how your tutor will contact you.

If you have a draft to attach, you will be able to do so when you schedule your appointment.

Finally, remember, we are not proofreaders!
